Shinrin Yoku - Forest BathingHealth & WellnessYou will be guided on an immersive, meditative and therapeutic forest walk based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. Slow down and intentionally connect your senses to the healing, stress-reducing beauty of a little-known corner of the metro area's green forested space. Scheduled summer experiences: Wolsfeld Woods (June 18th, 9:00-11:00 am) Lowry Nature Center (July 16th, 9:00-11:00 am) Wolsfeld Woods (July 30th, 2:00-4:00 pm) Westwood Hills (August 14th, 2:00-4:00 pm) Please note: For the safety of all participants, MDH and CDC guidelines for safe distancing and masks will be followed on this experience. Guests should wear hiking boots/shoes, clothing/gear appropriate for weather. Walk will be held in the rain, but not thunderstorms. Please wear/bring mosquito/tick repellent and sunscreen. Arrive 15 minutes prior to walk. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the immersive nature of the program. Please leave mobile phones in your car for the duration of the walk.Summer 2022
