We’ll make a simple raw tomato salad, fried green tomatoes, and learn about tomato preservation how to extract tomato water, a secret ingredient that enhances everything.The Science of Pickling & Canning Explore how to best preserve the fruits and vegetables from your home garden or local farmers market. We’ll make quick pickles, salted vegetables and slow ferments to stock up your pantry and freezer. Each student will bring home some of Chef Rhett's signature preserves.
