    A mini-retreat for incoming 6th graders to ease the transition to middle school with fun team-building activities, workshops and skill-building for success. Connect with new classmates and build confidence! With a mix of games, icebreakers, and goal-setting exercises, this retreat will help set the stage for a successful and engaging school year. This program is not in partnership with the schools and will not at this time be offering tours of the school.

    This interactive class builds your self-confidence as you learn important life-long skills that help you succeed in life. Topics include outstanding first impressions, introductions, dining etiquette, and more! You will be encouraged to practice the skills that were learned following each class. Topics Include: First Impressions & Communication Master your first impression – Learn how to introduce yourself with confidence and make a great first impression. Conversation skills & networking – Master small talk, active listening, and how to keep a conversation going without awkward silences. Digital Etiquette Own your virtual presence – Tips to look and sound your best on video calls. Tech manners that matter – Learn when (and when NOT) to use your phone, email etiquette, and video call dos and don’ts. Dining Etiquette Formal dining made easy – No stress! Learn how to handle formal dinners, tricky utensils, and proper table manners. Table etiquette 101 – What to do with your napkin, how to signal you're done eating, and how to avoid common dining mistakes.
