  • Dodgeball Tournament Grades 4-8

    Join us for our community dodgeball tournament that’s all about having a good time! This event is designed to be lighthearted and fun—not overly competitive. All referees are local high school students who are here to help keep games moving smoothly, but don’t expect instant replays or pro-level calls. The focus is on laughter, teamwork, and enjoying the game with friends. Whether you win or get knocked out early, the real goal is to have fun and be part of the action! $35 PER TEAM (Maximum of seven members per team). One person from each team should register and indicate team members. Registration closes Monday, April 13.   • East Meets West

    Meet new and old friends from MMW and MME at the 8th grade East Meets West dance! Enjoy music, games, a photo booth and snacks with your friends. Join us for the 8th grade East Meets West Party at MHS on Friday, May 8, 7-8:30 pm (please enter through the West Entrance). *****PLEASE NOTE***** ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN INSIDE THE DESIGNATED EAST MEETS WEST AREA UNTIL THE EVENT ENDS OR A PARENT/GUARDIAN IS PRESENT FOR PICK-UP. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL STUDENTS BE ABLE TO LEAVE WITHOUT AN ADULT. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED. LARGE BAGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. You may leave them at the front during the event but we recommend you leave them at home. T-Shirt: A MHS Class of 2030 t-shirt is optional. Sign up for your shirt by selecting the "With Shirt" option upon registering. T-shirts will be picked up at the event. MUST REGISTER BY APRIL 7 TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT! Concessions: The concession stand will be open to purchase snacks and beverages. Parent Chaperones: We are looking for parent chaperones for this event! Chaperones Needed! Throughout the event, there will be large group activities, such as dancing and gym games. Advanced registration closes at 1 pm on Friday, May 8th.   • Fifth Grade Finale

    Minnetonka Middle School West Finale: Friday, April 17, 6:30-8pm Minnetonka Middle School East Finale: Friday, May 1, 6:30-8pm Come and check out your new middle school and have a blast dancing, taking pictures in the photo booth, playing games and bouncing on the inflatables - all while meeting future sixth-grade classmates. Join us for the fourteenth annual Fifth-Grade Finale! The event will start promptly at 6:30 pm and will end at 8 pm. **This is a drop-off event. Fifth graders only. Parents, please come pick up your child from the cafeteria promptly at 8 pm. Concessions: Concessions are available at the event.   • Youth Triathlon

    For students in grades 2-8 | Saturday, May 16 | Minnetonka Middle School East Get ready for the Tonka Youth Tri! A morning of fun, fitness and excitement for young athletes—swim, bike and run your way to the finish line! All triathlon participants receive a wicking t-shirt, refreshments, and a finisher medal. The week after the triathlon, trophies will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each division. If your child would like to compete in an older age group, which may be more competitive, please call (952) 401-6800 to register over the phone. GPS Routes Available through QR Code Reminders: Bike helmets are mandatory. Athletes will be timed via chip timing for the Bike/Run portion (timed together), and will be timed manually for the swim portion of the event. U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets may be worn in the pool, if needed. No e-bikes are allowed at this event. No dogs are allowed at the event. The event will be held rain or shine. Online registration closes at 10 am on Thursday, May 14. In-person registration will be available at packet pick-up on Friday, May 15th. No refunds or transfers are allowed for any reason at any time including ride cancellation. Volunteers Needed: We need volunteers to help with body marking, directing the participants along the route, helping in the bike corral, or supervising indoors. If you can help, please sign up during the registration process. We recommend that there is a parent or other adult available to help the athlete transition between events if needed; please ensure that there is another adult present at the event if you would like to volunteer.     Start your training for the Tonka Youth Triathlon! Local triathlon staff will share their strategies and training tips. We’ll also cover transitions, bike riding safety and triathlon rules. Bring your swimsuit, swim cap and goggles. A bike is not needed. Register in advance or at the door.
  • Youth Triathlon Practice Swim

    Start your training for the Tonka Youth Triathlon! Minnetonka swim coaches will help you practice the swimming portion of the triathlon. We will have instructors in the pool to help guide you in the pool. Bring your swimsuit, swim cap and goggles. A bike is not needed. Register in advance or at the door.
