Improve your overall fitness and learn the essentials of proper form/drills, hydration and nutrition, proper warm up/warm down, breathing, stretching and pacing.The class instructor is Suzie Fox of Fox Endurance. Suzie has experience in working with youth and adults as a trainer, coach and instructor. She is also a participant in endurance events and was named Minnesota's 2015 Female Triathlete of the Year. You should be prepared each meeting to run continuously for at least ½ to 1 ½ miles depending on your grade. Participants will meet in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the new gymnasium at 7 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring warm clothing with as most days will involve running outside. Wear running shoes and bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing, a breakfast snack and juice for afterwards. Participants are provided with an Excelsior Run Club performance t-shirt. Open to boys and girls.
