Improve your overall fitness and learn the essentials of proper form and drills, hydration and nutrition, proper warm up and warm down, breathing, stretching and pacing. The class instructor is Suzie Fox of Fox Endurance. Suzie has experience in working with youth and adults as a trainer, coach and instructor. She is also a participant in endurance events and was named Minnesota's 2015 Female Triathlete of the Year. You should be prepared each meeting to run continuously for at least ½ to 1 ½ miles depending on your grade. Participants will meet in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the new gymnasium at 7:10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring warm clothing with as most days will involve running outside. Wear running shoes and bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing, a breakfast snack and juice for afterwards. Participants are provided with an Excelsior Run Club performance t-shirt. Open to boys and girls.
