    Immerse your athlete into the world of basketball! They’ll experience an engaging introduction to basketball through fun drills and mini-games. Players will learn dribbling, passing, shooting and defense in a positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.
  • Beginner Archery (Level 2)

    Archery improves concentration, physical fitness and is a lot of fun! Learn technique, rules, scoring, history, etiquette and equipment care. For beginners only. Coached by NASP-certified instructors. All equipment provided. Prerequisite: Intro to Archery (Level 1). Beginner Archery will introduce specialized learning for each archer and they will learn to hit their target. This class will cover safety, rules, techniques and prepare them for the Intermediate Archery Class. This course uses curriculum from the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) in collaboration with the Minnesota DNR. Participants will learn the fundamentals of archery in a safe, disciplined training program with an emphasis on safety.

Say goodbye to “nothing to do” days, our camps turn them into adventure-filled memories packed with climbing games, challenges, and activities that keep them moving, learning, and having a blast. Learn proper climbing techniques in a controlled setting that is fun, exciting and safe for all skill levels. Get vertical with climbing games and challenges or push yourself to climb higher! Big Island Bouldering is located at 161 Cheshire Ln # 500, Plymouth, MN 55441. Participants must provide their own transportation.
  • Boulder Pointe Equestrian - Horse Day Camp

    Experience having a horse for a day! Ride in indoor/outdoor arenas, learn basic riding skills, and enjoy fun activities like making treats, doing crafts, and playing games You’ll also learn how to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Parent drop-off is at 9 AM and parent pickup is at 3 PM. We do not allow parents to stay for the day. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed-toe shoes, and appropriate clothes for the weather inside and outside of the barn. ● No flip-flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Helmets will be provided. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. In the event of inclement weather, please dress accordingly as you will still be outside for a portion of the camp.     Play all day or choose a half-day option. Expert instruction and exciting activities will keep you engaged. With a low camper-to-instructor ratio and group pairings by age and skill, you’ll receive ample individual attention and proper instruction. The schedule is for Golf 9am-Noon and Tennis 12:30-3:30pm with a supervised lunch break for those staying all day (participants bring their own lunch) .

Sunday games are played at MHS beginning January 11th, followed by an end of the season tournament March 7th/8th. All games will have professional referees. All players will receive a reversible jersey. Girls rec teams will compete against Minnetonka, Wayzata, Edina and Eden Prairie rec teams, with all games taking place in Minnetonka. Teams must have a minimum of 8 players on a team. Players do not need to be from the same grade level. Please indicate your other team members on your registration. If you are interested in coaching, please indicate your desire on your son or daughter’s registration. REC BASKETBALL SEASON SAFETY PROTOCOLS Thank you for registering in our Tonka Rec Basketball program. We are excited for a great season of learning and fun! LEAGUE PLAY AND SCHEDULE Minnetonka teams will compete against teams from Wayzata, Hopkins and Edina. Teams practice once per week beginning the week of December 8th. Sunday games at surrounding communities begin January 4th, followed by an end of the season tournament the weekend of 3/7-3/8. All games will have two professional referees. Players will receive a reversible jersey. PLEASE NOTE: If players register for both the Intramural Boys League and the Southwest Basketball League, the scheduler cannot guarantee that practices and games will not conflict. SCHEDULE Coaches, players and parents will be emailed their child's game schedule by December 21st. TEAM FORMATION Southwest League rules require that all teams be formed evenly (no stacked teams). Friend requests are honored only if both players have requested each other. Due to the equal teams rule, we may not be able to honor all friend requests. Players who register late will be placed onto a team based on roster openings while maintaining an evenly skilled team.     Minneapolis Bouldering Project-Day Camps

    Learn proper climbing techniques in a controlled setting that is fun, exciting and safe for all skill levels. Get vertical with climbing games and challenges or push yourself to climb higher! No experience is necessary. Minneapolis Bouldering Project will focus on safety, etiquette and the fundamentals of bouldering. In addition to our focus on fun, all camps promote awareness and understanding of climbing safety. Our instructors are passionate about climbing and are excited to introduce the participants to the world of bouldering while helping them build confidence and learn fundamental climbing techniques. You will leave camp with a new respect for physical strength and mental toughness. Please bring lunch, a water bottle and a couple of snacks. Minneapolis Bouldering Project is located at 1433 West River Rd N, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Participants must provide their own transportation.
  • Minnetonka High School Fencing

    Learn new skills, basic techniques and train to compete! Explore all three Fencing Weapons: Epee, Sabre & Foil. Emphasizing blade work, footwork and balance. Open to all levels of experience! All materials are provided for this program. Each practice will begin with a warm up move into drills and finish with open bouting. *Optional competitions may be available at an additional cost to the participant. Competitions are around $50 each and students must compete in 2 competitions to qualify for the State Tournament. Sixth Graders cannot compete in the competitions. Coached by Maria Benford and Minnetonka Sword Play: Trained in Cuba for the Olympic team. Current head coach of Southwest Christian High School, a former head coach at St. Catherine College and St. Mary's High School.
  • My Little Horse Camp

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses—all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.
