  • District Honor Band

    Enjoy making music with fellow middle school band students! District Honor Band is open to middle schoolers who are currently enrolled in a band class within the District. Participation is based on an audition or teacher's recommendation from the middle of December 2025 through January 2026. Students who are accepted will rehearse for eight weeks. A public concert will take place on the last day of class.

    Calling all second-year orchestra students! Join the Minnetonka Elementary Fiddlers and have fun learning traditional fiddle music. We will learn to play folk tunes, Irish reels, ballads and jigs as well as bluegrass and traditional country music. No audition is required.

    Elevate your performance skills by becoming a member of the Minnetonka Philharmonic. Middle school students are invited to audition for this advanced ensemble through their school orchestra teachers in late September. This opportunity offers a valuable platform for artistic growth and musical excellence! Students will rehearse at MME on Friday mornings before school. Minnetonka Philharmonic will perform as a part of the Winter and Spring Orchestra Concerts at the Minnetonka High School (MHS) Arts Center and attend the Middle Level Orchestra Festival and Competition.
