Interest in the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo has skyrocketed in recent years, with versions of her being included in Disney - Pixar’s "Coco" and Mattel's "Inspiring Women" Barbie dolls. Take a deeper look into Kahlo's biography, her relationship with famed muralist Diego Rivera, her Surrealist movement involvement and the duality that permeates her work.
Adrienne H. Lee is an art historian and writer who is brand new to Minnesota. Known publicly as The Wandering Art Historian, she spent the last eight years giving lectures, teaching classes, and hosting art-inspired book club discussions all over the state of Florida. Ms. Lee is an avid reader and writer of both fiction and non-fiction, and she published her debut novel in January of 2024.
