Minnetonka Run ClubsRunning & FitnessImprove your overall fitness and learn the essentials of proper form, drills, hydration and nutrition, proper warm up and warm down, breathing, stretching and pacing. This program will give you an excellent introduction to lifelong fitness. Coached by a certified running coach. Elementary kids will focus on having fun, building endurance and pacing. Middle School kids will have an emphasis on distance, fitness, running form and training. Please wear running shoes and bring a water bottle. Parents are welcome to participate and/or coach. Age appropriate games will be implemented to make for a fun program.Summer 2022

Track and Field ClinicRunning & FitnessThis clinic will challenge experienced track & field athletes as well as those new to the sport. We'll have a track meet on the last day for parents and spectators. Join Varsity Track Coach Jane Reimer-Morgan and her assistant coaches who coached the 2013 MHS State Championship team along with former Tonka All-American track stars now competing at the college level. Please bring a water bottle, a snack, a bike helmet and wear running attire. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Students will develop new skills and improve their technique in: running form and starts, hurdles, relays, long jump, triple jump & high jump shot put & discus, pole vault and more.
