  • Bicycle Repair & Maintenance Camp

    Learn essential bike maintenance skills, including basic bike setup, trailside repairs, shifting and brake adjustments, re-cabling for both shifting and brakes, tube replacement and helpful tips and tricks. You’ll also learn how to prepare a bike for sale. You may bring a different bike each day to work on or bring the same bike back—many common issues can be addressed in this class! Please note that parts for major repairs may incur an additional fee, or we can assist you in sourcing new parts if needed.
  • Boulder Pointe Equestrian - 3 Day Horse Camp

    Experience a mini-week long horse camp. Life in the barn will include daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses and feeding. Spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Parent Drop-off is at 9am and Parent pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ● No flip flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided.     Learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40-50 minutes (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn and walk on your own. Other activities may include making horse treats, doing crafts, and playing games. You’ll also learn how to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age. Ideal for both new and experienced riders! Parent drop-off is at 9:00 AM, with pick-up at 3:00 PM. Please note that parents are not allowed to stay for the day. You’ll experience daily riding, learn how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and care for them at the end of the day. Spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Please note that riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day Monday through Friday. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. However there is a “show” for the parents Fridays of week-long camps at 1:30pm! This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week.   • Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness - 2025

    Join us on an incredible six-day canoe adventure in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Experience the beauty of the outdoors, develop leadership skills, challenge yourself and have the experience of a lifetime! July 8-13 (1st trip) and July 29th-August 3rd (2nd trip) for students Completing Grades 7-11 in the 2024-25 School Year. Guides are Minnetonka teachers experienced in wilderness camping. Full outfitting is included. When you sign up, under the notes section of your registration you may indicate one friend you want to be in your group. When we set up groups, we will do our best to keep you with your friend and keep friend groups together. If that is not possible, we will call you.     Minneapolis Bouldering Project-Day Camps

    Learn proper climbing techniques in a controlled setting that is fun, exciting and safe for all skill levels. Get vertical with climbing games and challenges or push yourself to climb higher! No experience is necessary. Minneapolis Bouldering Project will focus on safety, etiquette, and the fundamentals of bouldering. In addition to our focus on fun, all camps promote awareness and understanding of climbing safety. Instructors are extremely passionate about climbing and will introduce you to bouldering, all while you learn basic climbing techniques. You will leave camp with a new respect for physical strength and mental toughness. Please bring a lunch, a water bottle and a couple of snacks. Minneapolis Bouldering Project is located at 1433 West River Rd N, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Participants must have their own transportation.
  • Minnetonka Mountain Bike Racing Team

    Join the Minnetonka Mountain Bike Racing Team! This Co-Ed Racing team is for dedicated 6th-12th grade (2025-26 school year) student-athletes of all skill levels. Tentative 2025 Season Information: A parent meeting on April 10th will precede registration opening on April 14th. Initial registration will place every participant on a waitlist. Once team capacity is determined, registrants will be notified if they will be accepted onto the team. Team capacity is partly determined by the number of adult ride leads to maintain safety requirements under MCA guidelines. Please indicate your willingness to be a ride lead when you register your participant. Registrants should be committed to attending most summer/fall practices and all fall races. Practice Schedule: July through mid-October, 3 times/week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Carver Park Reserve and Saturdays at various metro-area sites. A new rider and new Ride Lead session will take place in late June. Race Schedule: In Sep. - Oct., the team competes in four race weekends plus the State Championship for those who qualify. Middle School races on Saturdays. High School races on Sundays. Registration Fees: TBD. Information about the MCA registration process will be communicated after the Team Roster is finalized. Additional Costs and Requirements: New participants will need to purchase a team jersey for races. Additional apparel may be purchased separately throughout the season. Participants must provide their bike, helmet, other riding gear, and transportation.     Campers will have the opportunity to ride a horse in an arena, meet various horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom them—all with an emphasis on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are divided into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents can lead their children on the horse and take photographs as they go. PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. The parent/guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as there is an indoor barn and arena.     Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! Students will also complete an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation.   • Summer Rec

    Have fun outdoors playing kickball, dodgeball, capture the flag, water relays and all your favorite outdoor games. You'll also create arts and crafts, go on nature walks and more! We'll end the summer with a Field Day. Summer Rec is led by Minnetonka Community Education camp counselors and includes structured activities as well as free play. Please bring a snack and a water bottle and wear clothes for outdoor play. No Summer Rec the first week of July. This summer's locations: Freeman Park, Eureka Road at Hwy. 7, Shorewood, Fields 4, 5, 6. Thorpe Park, 3725 Hamilton Ave, Deephaven, Playground area.

    Tonka Climbing Club

    Cultivate your climbing skills and increase your knowledge of climbing all while having fun and building relationships. Tonka Climbing Club will meet every other Tuesday from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at Minneapolis Bouldering Project. 1433 West River Rd N, Minneapolis, MN 55411 Participants will be responsible for the $15 admission fee into the Climbing Gym each trip. Participants must provide their own transportation. A waiver will be needed before entry to Minneapolis Bouldering Project. They also do not accept Cash. Kids will need to use a card or have a card on file. The group will also have some outdoor climbing opportunities which will be communicated by the Advisor. These will be on October 12th and May 27th.
