This class will be held using the online platform, Zoom. MCE will provide you with a link to access the class at least 24 hours prior to class start.
  • Dog Obedience Level 1: Basic Life Skills

    Discover how to teach your dog a sense of self-calming and desirable house and social manners. Use basic cues such as sit, down, stay and come with both hand and voice signals. We will also talk about tips for loose leash walking, jumping on guests, and ways to keep our pups mentally stimulated. Our goal is to help you gain or build a trusting relationship with your dog and learn when to meet them in the middle. Behavior modification is a science and applies to all animals, regardless of age. No dogs on the first night of class. The first class is for the human end of the leash only. Please email proof of your dog's updated vaccine information to your instructor Holly at hollyjean.unleashed@gmail.com before the 1st day of class. (Your dog must be up-to-date on both Rabies and Distemper Combo (if under 6 months, bring in updates as they are obtained). Bordetella is not required, though strongly recommended. Please wear comfortable shoes, as we will be doing some moving around. Other supplies such as treats and leashes will be discussed during the first week of orientation.     Sign up for a one-to-one tutoring session with a computer instructor. Focus on what specific components of a program you want to learn or get help from the instructor on a project you are working on. There will be a pre-session phone interview to identify the session's focus. You will have all of the instructor's attention and can get all your questions answered as well as get that computer project jump-started or get help learning specific program components and skip the basics found in a classroom setting.

    Explore and try multiple toys and activities that can be mentally stimulating and naturally fulfilling for your dog. Learn why it is essential to give your dog an outlet to be a dog, along with discussing how these outlets can benefit their lives. An adult (at least 18 years of age) be present during each class.     Take-out pizza may just become a thing of the past! Create fantastic flatbread pizzas and pizza panini from scratch! On the Menu: Wonderful Flatbread Pizzas, Pizza Panini, and OUT-OF-THIS WORLD Pizza Sauce! TWO of the instructors’ personal recipes for two different homemade doughs will be used. One will be for the flatbread pizzasand the other for the Panini Rolls that will be turned into pizza panini! The instructor will provide Step-by-step guidance and instruction help to ensure the process is as simple as can be. Participants can personalize their flatbread Pizzas and Panini with toppings and fillings of their choosing. If children/youth are participating, supervision is required. No refunds after ingredient list and packet are received. Ingredient list and packet will be sent 5-7 days before class. Registration fee can include participants from the SAME HOUSEHOLD ONLY.
