Early Childhood Screening
Registration for September-May is open to all children ages 3-6. Screening appointments open in the registration system 6-12 weeks prior to the date. To view the tentative calendar for 2021-22, please visit bit.ly/ecscreening A screening is required once for a child between the ages of 3-6 (preferred at age 3 but no later than 30 days after the start of kindergarten). If your child screened at another MN school district, this also meets the requirement.
NOTE ABOUT MASKS - Shared Building with MHS: Early Childhood Screenings take place at a Minnetonka Public Schools building which is also used for the Minnetonka High School Vantage program. Within the District, masks are required for E-8 grades, however, they are not required for high school students and high school staff members. Our building will have high school students without masks (opposite side of the building, however, we share the front entry and restrooms) during weekday appointments from 8 am-3 pm. Masks are required for the Early Childhood Screening team and the parents and children attending a screening appointment.

Screening location: 18707 Old Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka
For safety, the following processes will be in place during screening appointments:
