At-Home Youth Art Kits

Pick up your own art kit to create your masterpiece! Work at your own pace in the comfort of your home. Designed by Kidcreate Studio for students in grades K-5 At-home art kits with online instructional videos are now available from Kidcreate Studio! These art kits are so much fun, it’s like having your own private art teacher. The kit contains: An easy to follow lesson plan. A link to a correlating online instructional video taught by a Kidcreate Studio art teacher. Art materials needed to create your masterpiece and additional suggestions for online learning that relate to the art lesson. Important Pick Up Information: June Kits will be available for pick-up starting June 10th at the Minnetonka Community Ed Center (4584 Vine Hill Road, Excelsior, MN 55331). Registration due: July 29th. Available Kits: Clay Mosaic Let’s create a mosaic out of air dry clay and beads! Clay by itself makes great art, but adding beads or sequins makes it even better! Air-dry clay will be used to create a fun and funky mosaic. Slime Time Let’s create one of our favorite messy times- silly putty slime! Roll up your sleeves and let’s get messy!! Clay Coil Bowl Let’s create a clay coil bowl! Learn a special clay technique to build these unique creations. Clay Slab Unicorn Let your artist go unicorn-crazy! This kit teaches a simple step-by-step process to sculpt a darling unicorn. Add some sequins and a little dazzle and this project is a dream come true for any unicorn enthusiast. Clay Fairy House If you believe in fairies, clap your hands, and get creative with this whimsical, colorful art kit! Construct a magical place for your fairy friends to live out of Model Magic® clay. Klimt’s The Sunflower Be inspired by art created by Gustav Klimt. Recreate one of his famous works out of clay, paint and beads! Garden Collage Spring is in the air! Follow easy step-by-step instructions to create a mixed-media collage with a garden theme on an actual canvas board.
