Dive into the delightful world of pickling with this workshop! Gain research-based knowledge and hands-on experience in preserving pickles three tantalizing ways: refrigerated sweet pickles, canned dill pickles, and fermented pickles.


You'll not only learn the science behind food safety and acidity but also master the proper equipment, food and jar preparation, boiling water canning and fermenting techniques. Guided by the Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Certified Food Preservation Consultants from UMN Extension, this workshop promises to be both educational and fun.
