Gentle Yoga

Adult Fitness & Recreation / Yoga -
Winter/Spring 2024

A blend of gentle movement, classic yoga poses and breath practices. Gentle Yoga promotes physical and mental balance, increases flexibility and strength, reduces stress and improves breathing.

For all levels.

Please bring a yoga mat. If you need to purchase one, we have premium mats available at MCEC. Students are also encouraged to bring a blanket and yoga blocks.

Instructor

Renae Ask

My aim is to empower students to find balanced energy, strength, and mobility through safe, gentle movement and connection with breath. I have been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Devanadi Yoga and my 500-hour SomaYoga teacher training with Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute. I also study Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga) and teach classes on Ayurvedic practices and vegetarian cooking.
