At the end of the week, we will put on a public concert showcasing our work. Participants from past years are encouraged to join us again as the music is never the same from year to year. All ability levels are welcome!
  • Dog Obedience Level 2: Basic Life Skills

Take your dog’s skills to the next level while they learn to expand on basic cues such as sit, down, stay, leash skills and come with both hand and voice signals learned in Level 1. Heels, turns and adding distance and distractions to cues like stay and come will also be introduced in this class. No dogs on the first night of class. Behavior modification is a science and applies to all animals, regardless of age. Our goal is to help you gain or build a trusting relationship with your dog and learn when to meet them in the middle. Please email proof of vaccination records to your instructor Holly at hollyjean.unleashed@gmail.com prior to the first class. Your dog must be up-to-date on both Rabies and Distemper Combo (if under 6 months, bring in updates as they are obtained). Bordetella is not required, though strongly recommended. Please wear comfortable shoes, as we will be doing some moving around. Please bring supplies such as treats and regular 6-foot leashes that are discussed in Level 1. ***If you believe your dog is aggressive or fearful, one-on-one sessions will be more appropriate for you.
