Storytelling with Your Child

Adult Enrichment / Focus on Family -
Fall 2025

Unwind with a heartfelt story and learn to create simple, meaningful tales that connect with children, gently teaching, inspiring and supporting them in an age-appropriate, personal way.

Perfect for parents, caregivers, grandparents, teachers, social workers and anyone who works closely with children, this class requires no prior experience. You’ll be guided step-by-step in crafting short stories that respond to a child’s challenges, highlight their strengths or celebrate their milestones. In a world increasingly dominated by screens, person-to-person storytelling is a powerful, needed gift. The class is low-pressure, supportive and fun—designed for adults and focused on connecting with preschool and elementary-aged children, though the skills can apply to teens as well.
