Ayurveda for Autumn Workshop

Adult Fitness & Recreation / Yoga -
Fall 2024

Ayurveda—Yoga’s sister science—offers guidance for maintaining health through lifestyle and diet in alignment with the seasons. In this workshop you will learn Ayurvedic practices to stay healthy, grounded and warm through the Ayurvedic season of vata.

You will practice a short, gentle yoga sequence and a calming breath exercise; learn a grounding self-massage technique; and receive recipes for nourishing and comforting seasonal foods and beverages.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. A blanket is recommended but not required.

Renae Ask

As a yoga teacher, my aim is to empower students to find balanced energy, strength, and mobility through safe, gentle movement and connection with breath. I have been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Devanadi Yoga and my 500-hour SomaYoga teacher training with Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute. I also study Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga) and teach classes on Ayurvedic practices and vegetarian cooking.
