Yang Family Tai Chi Short Form (Tai Chi Chuan)

This non-martial, gentle exercise reduces stress, strengthens the body, and restores internal and external balance.


The many physical and psychological benefits have been recognized by both medical and scientific research. Tai Chi is recommended by many top medical universities and organizations.


In this class, participants will learn a 40 posture Yang family form done in sequence. It requires the ability to stoop, turn and change directions. Not suitable for some physical conditions. Participants will improve flexibility, body awareness, relaxation, balance, pain & stress reduction.

Instructor

Christine T. Morgan


Christine has been practicing Tai Chi since the mid 80s and teaching for approximately 20 years. She has certified in the Chen Synthetic style and now teaches Yang Short Form, SUN Forms, Tai Chi Ruler and Bang Stick Forms, and Qigong. Christine is a Certified Tai Chi Instructor, Certified Qigong Instructor with Tai Chi Healthways, and Certified Level III American Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor (over 3,000 hours of teaching students).
