This Spanish immersion day camp is for learners of all levels. Our mission is to inspire a love for Spanish so each camp activity is fun and engaging for kids! Campers participate in activities such as: games, outdoor exploration, cooking, art, singing, dancing, sports, team building, and problem solving puzzles. We use the immersion approach which means staff communicate in the target language of Spanish. While this may seem intimidating for beginner level learners, our counselors are trained to adapt to each child’s level. Most fears are put to rest when campers see the silliness that takes place when a language barrier is turned into a game of charades. Our counselors push higher level students by challenging them in communication and verbal expression skills. This camp is a great way for immersion students to maintain skills over the summer. Please bring a nut free snack.
