Minnetonka Preschool Knit Hat
Ranch Hands is the perfect way to learn about horse safety, grooming and horse care. Leave knowing how to saddle up, ride in a ranch show and even what it might be like to own your own horse!
Older kids will gain confidence through built-in mentorship opportunities that help them learn by doing. Younger campers will be safe with a foundation of essential horse skills. For all campers, age-specific activities and time in the saddle will provide an experience of living the ranch lifestyle.
You will cover essential things to know about horses like safety, breeds and colors, tack, parts of the horse, and horsemanship through hands-on activities. OutWest has quality, kid-safe horses ready for the job.
Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Snacks will be provided.
The camp is held at OutWest Ranch in Buffalo (6069 County Rd 33 SE, Buffalo, MN 55313), and is led by OutWest professional instructors. Participants will need to provide their own transportation to the camp.
