Minnetonka Preschool Knit Hat
Lampworking is a method of glassblowing using a fix mounted torch to melt and manipulate glass into a desired form. We will go over safety, the torch and glass and work on solid shaped objects and marbles.
Class participants will keep their creations made in class.
This class is for newer lampworkers and people with little or no experience on the torch.

Chris Eberhardt and Alex Kasick have been studying glass art for over half a decade. They began at Anoka Ramsey Community College studying soft glass art. Three years ago, with the assistance of David Schuster, Skylab’s owner, the three of them dove into the new borosilicate style of glass becoming popular throughout glass art. Under their guidance, students find themselves in a comfortable learning environment designed to foster creativity and positivity.
