Minnetonka Community Education

Learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40-50 minutes (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn and walk on your own. Other activities may include making horse treats, doing crafts, and playing games.

You’ll also learn how to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership!

Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Parent Drop-off is at 9am and Parent pickup is 3 pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. 

WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ● No flip flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided. 

WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.
