Introduction to Home Organizing

Adult Enrichment / Home and Garden -
Winter/Spring 2025

Learn about basic home organizing principles and practices, with a particular focus on sustainability. Many of us struggle with over-consumption—both in terms of the large quantity and the lesser quality of the things we buy. We also often struggle to notice our purchases' impact on people and the planet and to distinguish between genuine wants and needs.

Home organizing can empower us all to live more in harmony with ourselves and others, including the natural world. Students will have time to put pen to paper and start planning their own home organizing projects with instructor support. Handouts with helpful tips and resources will also be provided.
