  • Shoreline Volleyball Club Tryouts

    Showcase your skills and try out for the Shoreline Volleyball Club! Program runs October through May and teams compete in six Molten Cup Series, six local events & three out-of-town tournaments. Teams practice three times per week, strength & cardio training twice per week. Practices are either Sundays 4-6 pm at MME, Mondays 7-9 at MHS, Tuesdays 7-9 at MHS or Thursdays 7-9 pm at MHS. Player Fee: $2999 for 12U, $3,999 for 13U and older (monthly payment plan available*) Includes: uniform (2 Nike Jerseys, 2 Nike Shorts, Nike warm-ups, Nike volleyball socks, Nike volleyball shoes, Nike Dri-fit practice shirts, Nike Elite backpack), coaching, strength & cardio training, tournament entry fees. Fee does not include transportation to tournaments, lodging, meals at tournaments or additional tournaments). *Alternative payment plans are available, please inquire before tryouts. Shoreline Volleyball Club Tryouts Tryouts for 14s, 13s and 12s take place on Sunday, October 26th from approximately 10:00am-11:30am at Minnetonka Middle School East. Players will be dropped off at the Aquatics/Gym entrance with coaches checking players in starting at 9:00am. Tryouts for 16s and 15s take place on Sunday, November 9th from approximately 10:00am-2:00pm at Minnetonka High School. Players will be dropped off at the Aquatics/Gym entrance with coaches checking players in starting at 9:00am. If you have any questions ahead of tryouts please don’t hesitate to ask.

  • Volleyball Skills

    Volleyball skills are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. Sessions will include short court and 2 vs. 2 court games. No experience or equipment is necessary. This program is instructed by Stephen McCarthy of the McCarthy Project. Since 2001, Stephen has researched and developed innovative training, skill development and techniques specific to sport and is USAV and BCAP certified coach.
