  • Principles of Pizza Making: Master Class

    Many agree that the joy of eating freshly made pizza can rarely be surpassed, but there is so much more to pizza than just eating! The satisfaction of understanding the art form takes years to develop and understand. All participants will learn how to make a wonderful Neapolitan style pizza comparable to the pizza made in brick ovens from gourmet pizza restaurants! The class will include a presentation on the “Principles of Pizza Making” and the “Do’s and Don’ts of pizza and sauce making”. It is highly recommended that students have a pizza stone or pizza steel, but it is not required. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and prep and an all-inclusive recipe and information packet after the class. Note: One registration fee for this class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

    Calling all jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts! Compete with other teams to put together a 500-piece puzzle! The fee includes the puzzle (yours to keep), pizza, water and prizes! Teams will consist of 4 members, including 1-2 adults and children ages 8-12. Children ages 7 and under are welcome to participate with your team but will not be counted as members of the 4-person team. Each team must have at least 1 adult. Feel free to bring gently used, complete puzzles to trade. Pizza and beverages are served at 5:30 pm. The contest begins at 6:00 pm.

We will take you through a series of demonstrations in each area of human perception, such as Lighting and Acoustics, where you experience sensory issues, as well as sensory.
