  • High School Rugby

    Carry, pass or kick in one of the fastest-growing sports. All players are welcome and no experience is necessary. Teams will practice twice per week. Practice begins in mid-February and matches typically begin in April. The registration fee includes socks, shorts, a team T-shirt and club dues. Dues cover referees, athletic trainers, tournaments, a team BBQ and all fees for MN Youth Rugby registration. Participants must register and complete the paperwork including the health form and waiver before beginning practice. Please CLICK HERE to download the paperwork. Paperwork can be faxed to (952) 401-6805, mailed to or dropped off at the Minnetonka Community Education Center, emailed to ethan.wolfe@minnetonkaschools.org, or be given to the coach at practice. Paperwork must be turned in by April 2 to play in matches. *Practice days and times may change depending on coach availability. See the team page for schedules, rules and other important information.   • Minnetonka Mountain Bike Racing Team

    Join the Minnetonka Mountain Bike Racing Team! This Co-Ed Racing team is for dedicated 6th-12th grade (2024-25 school year) student-athletes of all skill levels. Tentative 2024 Season Information: A parent meeting on April 18th will precede registration opening on April 22nd. Initial registration will place every participant on a waitlist. Once team capacity is determined, registrants will be notified if they will be accepted onto the team. Team capacity is partly determined by the number of adult ride leads to maintain safety requirements under MCA guidelines. Please indicate your willingness to be a ride lead when you register your participant. Registrants should be committed to attend most practices and all races. Practice Schedule: July 9th through mid-October, 3 times/week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Carver Park Reserve and Saturdays at various metro-area sites. A new rider and new Ride Lead session will take place in late June. Race Schedule: In Sep.-Oct., the team competes in four race weekends, Sept. 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, and 28-29 plus State Championship Oct. 12 & 13 for those who qualify. Middle School races on Saturdays. High School races on Sundays. Registration Fees: TBD. Information about the MCA registration process will be communicated after the Team Roster is finalized. Additional Costs and Requirements: New participants will need to purchase a team jersey for races. Additional apparel may be purchased separately throughout the season. Participants must provide their own bike, helmet, other riding gear, and transportation.   • Ultimate Frisbee

    The game of ultimate frisbee combines the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer, with the aerial passing skills of football. All players will make a team and have plenty of opportunities to play. Minnetonka will support two teams for the 2024 season. Pending the conditions of the fields, teams will practice twice per week beginning in early April. Games will be held on Thursdays at Minnetonka Middle School East or MHS for home games and away games TBD once the schedule is released. The team will receive a schedule with all dates. Fees cover jerseys, registration, weekly games, and three tournaments. All players will need to register for their MN Ultimate membership separately at https://minnesotaultimate.org/. Early registration deadline is February 16th, 2024. A $20 late fee will be assessed after this deadline. Indoor practices will begin in March with schedule TBD.
