Wrapped Fiber Rainbow (Digital Workshop & Kit)
Adult Enrichment / Create -
Winter/ Spring 2021
Get introduced to sculptural fiber art by artist Mandi Smethells, who'll share how to build a wrapped rainbow in her iconic style. Working with specialized tools (such as a u-shaped upholstery needle) and materials she’s curated over time, Mandi offers a glimpse into her passion and work to create colorful, playful, beautiful wall art. Utilizing a wrapping technique that helps to build upon the 3D elements of her work, Mandi has developed unique techniques that come from years of weaving experience.
The workshop fee includes pre-recorded, digital instruction by the Artist (which can be accessed at any time), and all tools & materials need for the project.
