The Perfect Rose The rose is arguably the most loved and popular flower ever, and the focus of this class. You will learn two techniques to create one dozen and two dozen rose arrangements, both modern and traditional styles. Your arrangement is yours to take home or (if willing) to gift to a friend or loved one.

Spring Floral Arrangement  In this class, you will be introduced to different spring flower varieties, learn the basics of flower prep/maintenance, and get advice on designing arrangements that have that "wow" factor Then you will select flowers from a variety of seasonal favorites to create your own custom arrangement in a white ceramic vase – perfect centerpiece on your brunch table!

Introduction to Ikebana Ikebana is the Japanese art of arranging flowers. Explore the values of discipline, knowledge of rules and forms, and idealized approach to nature using fresh flowers and greenery. Create distinctive, elegant designs that exude a sense of harmony, balance, and well-being while learning the history and fundamental approaches of Ikebana.

This class will begin with a short demonstration of the Ikebana form in which flowers are arranged asymmetrically in a low bowl with water visible and then participants will create their own arrangements to bring home. All supplies and tools for use during class are provided.

Mother's Day Flower An interactive, hands-on, fun, and creative workshop for little flower enthusiasts. Kids, along with an adult, will learn the basics of floral design, connect with nature, and let their individual style shine through. We guide the children through the techniques of basic floristry and help them to plan, design and create an arrangement of their own to take home.

The simple floristry skills children learn during this class are entertaining while also improving cognitive skills and dexterity. Participants will take home two arrangements.

Marie Raley

Marie Raley is the owner and lead designer/stylist at Laine Moire Floral Design and Event Styling. Early on in life she learned to appreciate the natural aesthetics and overall beauty of flowers and greens. Her parents and grandparents are avid gardeners. Marie and her mom would go into the woods and pull grape vine to make wreaths. Her dad would take Marie on walks and teach her all the different trees so she could differentiate them by their leaves and needle structures. Every season the mantle was decorated with flowers and greens from their gardens and the woods. Today, she has her own gardens for fresh picked bouquets and children to take on nature walks. She is so excited that she can use her love of nature to design and style events.
