First Aid

In this American Heart Association class, learn a plan of action to recognize and deal with unconsciousness, bleeding, broken bones, head, neck and back injuries, and sudden illness including stroke, diabetic emergencies, seizures, fainting and poisoning.


In addition, you will have an opportunity to practice bandaging and splinting.

Certification received: American Heart Association First Aid (valid for two years).

Kathie Case is a certified American Heart Association instructor and faculty member of MnSCU. She has taught code-team CPR classes, as well as Community Education classes for over 15 years in several school districts. Her passion for the life-saving value of CPR is contagious as she makes her classes instructive and meaningful within an environment that is relaxing and fun!
